Long or short? Frequent posting or occasional posting?

This is a difficult time.

Since the beginning of 2006, CL's schedule has gone mad. New commitments, burdens, home computing resources compromise among family members, lack of time to think about worth writing topics ... all contribute to the low output of CL's writings. When I reviewed the past articles, I also saw QC problem in this year's articles.

If I leave too long, everyone thinks that I simply quit - which I would not do. Reality is that I have to be very selective. Short term topics are dropped since I cannot respond to current affairs in a timely manner through blog, given limited resources. So future writings will be bit longer but less occasional.

Oh no, the 'future of HK science' article started in June is still in draft after some editions...

And I also talk more about myself (a bit reluctant, since this can also be a way to project my own self-expectation or presentation upon the audience).
